One of my favourite winter sun hen weekends, the La Manga resort in Murcia is the perfect place to chill before the big day. It's a 4* luxury resort on the Costa Calida (Warm Coast), which says it all. Temperatures still hit 20 degrees in November and December. Think gorgeous beaches, magnificent mountain ranges, a sumptuous spa with hydrotherapy baths, cocktails at the lounge bar and minted golfers.
MARBELLA
Chic and sophisticated resorts with a touch of the exotic, luxurious townhouses, hotels, and warm sunshine make this Costa del Sol hotspot a perennial favourite with ladies in search of scorchio winter sun hen weekends. Marbella is a favourite with the rich and famous and in the winter months, accommodation is way cheaper so it won't blow your budget. Think miles of golden sandy beaches, boutiques, tapas bars, multi-million pound yachts and guaranteed sunshine. The average temperature in winter is 19 degrees.
