Meet up with our brilliant instructor at our city centre dance studio. Don't worry if the only dancing you've done's been in your car. This isn't a test! It's your hen weekend, so have fun with it. Each salsa class is paced to suit the ability and experience of each individual hen party. The main idea is to have a blast and learn a simple group routine using the basic salsa steps and arm movements. Simple!
If you stumble, make it part of the dance!
After a quick warm-up to get the girls limber, your instructor will teach you the basic salsa step. Surprisingly, this isn't fancy footwork. The salsa step is simple and easy to master. Add a few flamboyant arm movements into the mix and voila! You've cracked salsa without even realising it. Like riding a bike, once you've got it, you'll never forget it!
Once all the girls have mastered the basics, your instructor will combine all the moves you've learned into a fabulous final performance piece set to a bangin' Latino beat. By the end of class you'll be itching to get into a salsa club to try out those hot new moves. Full of confidence and brimming with excitement, it's the perfect time to hit the bars and throw some shapes with your fave ladies!
